Biography

Credence Fogo is a writer, a lawyer, a former mountaineer, and a mother of five.  Born and raised in the frozen tundra of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, she spent most of her years as a full-time lawyer in sunny Los Angeles.  It was in L.A., outside a somewhat dodgy nightclub, that she met her French husband, who was not permanently put off by her query as to the showering habits of his people.

Seven years and a minivan full of kids later, they moved to France.  In addition to her writing and extremely part-time law practice, Credence now spends her copious amounts of free time navigating the intricacies of the French immigration bureaucracy and playing the linguistic version of "Are You As Smart As A Five-Year-Old?"
